Who runs and manages this website?
I do. My name is Pam, but who people online know me as is my web alias: Mystacor. I'm a Caucasian female with German/Italian/French heritage currently living on the East Coast of the United States. I was 21 when I first started this site, wanting to be the first to dedicate a part of webspace to one of my favourite show series while growing up. Being 23 years old now, I'm happy to say that I've moved this site from where it all began on Geocities to my own domain which means more space, more possibilities and no more pop-up ad crap.
Are you in contact with any of those involved in the MovieTales?
Not directly, no. Though, there have been times when people connected to the production of the MovieTales have contacted me via email and have even contributed to this site by way of memories and pictures. I'm very thankful to them for their kind words and their time. Just being able to converse with them means the world to me.
How often do you update this site?
I always try to update as often as I can. Please realise though that this is far from being the only site I manage; I have many passions that I've put to being websites and there are other fans waiting just as eagerly for an update as the Cannon Tales fans are.
I'm only human. I can't stress that enough. I've gotten messages both on my Guestbook and in my email box that have berated me for not updating enough or just went all naggy on me. I hate that. It makes me feel that this site is under-appreciated. It also makes me feel like crap. I'm a human, not a robot. I have a life marred with depression, terrible family situations and a full-time job - same as most everyone else. Please respect that. Beration and nagging isn't going to make me update any faster, but it sure might make me pull this site from the web; I don't want that, and I don't think you do either.
What's the latest news on the MovieTales coming to DVD?
All the latest news can be found in the 'Latest MovieTale News' section on this site. I don't have any really special sources, and sometimes I find out my info just the same as any ordinary fan.
Your soundclips aren't working.
All sounds are in either MP3 or WAV format. On rare occasions, WMA will be used. Please be certain that your computer can play these file types.
The most likely reason that this problem occurs, is that people don't right-click. The simplest and most hassle-free way of listening to these files is to Right-Click on the link and select 'Save Target As...'
I used to have all my sound files hosted on a free UK-based server. Now, that they are all on my own domain, many problems should be alleviated.
Is there a community online where I can find fans of this series such as myself?
On a rare occasion, I'll try to access your site and it won't come up. Why is that?
I have 120 GB of bandwidth available for each month. On the rare instance that I run out for any given period, DreamHost will temporarily disable websites of mine hosted with them until the first of the new month. It's their equivalent of a 'Bandwidth Exceeded' notice. Please don't be alarmed, if it should happen. Just come back at the start of the new month and you'll see everything as if it never happened.
Can I contribute to your website?
Of course, and it would be more than welcome. Images, sounds and other such items pertinent to the Cannon Movie Tales may be sent to me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How can I help keep this site running for years to come?
Well, although I don't like to ask, a small donation would be immensely beneficial to the longevity of this website. After all, bandwidth doesn't grow on trees. If this site has helped you in some way, please consider making a donation.
